“Highly Recommended, Especially for Female Travellers”
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this camp in Wadi Rum; from the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel cared for and ensuring we had the best possible experience. As female travellers, we had many questions and concerns beforehand, but when we arrived there were no other guests, and even though it was just the two of us, we felt completely safe and comfortable throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this camp to solo female travellers or women traveling together, as you can come here with peace of mind. We joined both the jeep safari tour and the camel ride, and I honestly think both are worth doing; they offered two completely different ways of experiencing Wadi Rum and became highlights of our trip. In the evenings, sitting under the stars, chatting, and enjoying the tranquil desert atmosphere was one of my favorite experiences. We also learned a lot about Bedouin culture and life, which made our stay much more meaningful than simply visiting the desert. The hospitality was probably the best part of our stay. The camp owner speaks very good English, so communication was very easy; whenever we had a question or needed help, we could simply message him and he was always willing to help. He was also incredibly helpful when we needed to arrange our transportation back from Wadi Rum, finding the bus for us and even taking us to it, which made everything so much easier. They were also very kind to us and gave us a tent with a private bathroom as a special gesture, which we really appreciated. A few practical tips for future guests: before entering the camp, stop at a market to buy water and snacks, as it is useful to have them with you.
