The view and cleanliness were impressive, but the access was difficult, the breakfast lacked coffee, and some essential items like glasses and chairs were missing.

The location was superb, the hosts were friendly, and the option to dine on site was available with very good food quality. I would hardly find any flaws in a hotel that offered comfort at 1500 m above sea level; the owners took good care of the guests’ comfort.

The breakfast felt like a grandma’s kitchen – a fragrant banitsa with a cup of homemade yogurt, and the terrace views were so uplifting you could almost forget the world. The location is one of a kind, but we were a group of 20 and only had a single night, which left us wanting more. Still, the staff were warm and the caramel cream made from real eggs and milk was a sweet highlight.
