It’s right on the beach! A few more utilities in the rooms would make the stay even better.

The spot is great—right on the sand, centrally located along the beach, balanced between activity and peace. We booked a sea‑front hut and it was awesome: clean, spacious, with AC, warm water, secure door locks, windows, balcony, chairs, and basic toiletries all provided. The cleaning lady worked daily. A shower and tap on the balcony steps let us rinse off dust. Boats for sea tours are right in front, and popular restaurants are within walking distance. The food at the hotel restaurant fell short; they blamed low footfall, a small staff, and a gas shortage linked to the Iran conflict, a situation mirrored by many nearby eateries. Patnem was perfect for a family holiday beach. If you prefer spending time on the beach instead of driving around tourist spots, this place is ideal. The food menu was limited and the taste didn’t meet expectations of Goa shacks.

The location is right on the beach, and the on‑site restaurant bar was great. I could lean over the balcony and order from the bar. Helpful staff carried our luggage from the road end into the premises. Basins of water at the front of the hut kept the sand from getting inside.

I booked a week, then extended another week in a few days, and today added yet another week—no doubt I’ll keep staying longer. I normally never stay more than 7 nights anywhere, even at home, so just book and enjoy. The only gripe: a fridge for milk in the morning would have made it perfect, but the restaurant did bring a jug of milk when they saw my teapot on the balcony table.

The location is great, a single big room, good food at the restaurant, and the sweetest staff. When I requested cleaning, the table surfaces weren’t wiped down, and the bed felt a bit hard.
