The owner’s dad was very friendly and had a good sense of humor, and we got along well despite his limited English. The room was fully equipped with air‑conditioning and a fan, so you can choose what you prefer. Water, coffee, tea, and beautifully scented toiletries were provided. The room was clean and stylish.

The host was amazing, very friendly and helpful, and the check‑in and check‑out went smoothly. The room was nice, comfortable, and clean. The location was great, close to many Hanoi attractions, bus stops, and the railway station. The house is tucked away in the middle of a quarter, so the room stayed quiet despite the street traffic. After check‑out you can safely store luggage; the storage box is secured with a code‑locked door and a lock. We also requested laundry service, which turned out to be very good. The host speaks Russian well.

The spot is close to the old town yet tucked into a very calm street, the owners are friendly, and the place has plenty of charm.

“A nice place to stay, the rooms are nice and simple.”

The rooms were nice and comfortable; the property sits near the lake and old quarter—about a 10mn walk—and is hidden in a quiet lane, which is a real bonus in Hanoi. The staircase is quite narrow and there’s no elevator, so it could be difficult for those with large or heavy luggage or mobility issues; it didn’t bother us, but guests should keep that in mind when booking.
