I had a different apartment booked, but the provider pulled the plug about two weeks before my trip because of a building problem. With only 15 days left, I couldn’t locate another place in Vienna, and they offered no compensation at all. The whole episode turned out to be a nightmare.

The lounge was the best part of my stay – comfy seats, a relaxed vibe, and it was kept tidy. I ended up spending most of my free time there, and it made the whole visit feel a bit more pleasant.

The hotel sits in a great location and the staff are genuinely friendly and warm. On the downside, the rooms lack proper soundproofing, the lighting is weak, and there’s a draft coming through the windows. They also didn’t provide a kettle, cups, or any cutlery, which was a hassle.

The spot is spot‑on and the room service was quick, which made things convenient. Unfortunately, the front‑desk staff were unhelpful and the room itself showed wear and needed some updating. All in all, a mixed experience.
