“Beautiful place, clean, relaxing”
We booked the villa called “Love,” and it was very clean and new, with a great private hot tub, mini bar, and a beautiful, relaxing setting where we even spotted foxes, a badger, and other wildlife in the nearby field. The breakfast disappointed us; it would be much better if guests could tick items like fresh fruit, juice, breads, meats, eggs, etc., especially if a buffet isn’t sustainable. All we got were a few slices of prosciutto, a lot of bread and spreads, and a few pieces of traditional pâté. I even put my finger in a small portion of the spread to taste it, and the next day the same spread was served with my fingerprint on it. There were also many flies around the food, which was off-putting. You have to book in advance, so you can’t simply decide not to have it. The set menu dinner was interesting, but I probably wouldn’t try it again. It’s hard to get food options because it’s so far away; unless you drive down some winding roads, this is the only choice. The front gate of the complex closes, and we got locked out while trying to find other food.

The lodges were very comfortable, cozy, and clean with an exceptional view. The staff were very welcoming and genuinely pleasant.
