Gustavo was a fantastic host—always friendly and ready to help. The apartment was spotless and sat in a quiet, prime spot in Urca, so much so we almost wanted to move in. My husband and I mixed work with some real relaxation, feeling right at home.

The place offered zero privacy and everything was filthy. I couldn't get a decent night's sleep with the constant feeling of being watched. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Location couldn't be better and the staff were super attentive. I left feeling taken care of.

The spot is perfect for walking to Praia Vermelha, Sugarloaf, and Rio Sul, which made exploring easy. Unfortunately the shared bathroom and kitchen were often crowded, and cleanliness was hit‑or‑miss—sometimes there was no toilet paper or even water. The host should enforce stricter house rules to keep things sanitary.
