The room was modest but met our expectations. Breakfast was tasty. There’s a fridge in the hallway, and the air conditioning works well.

When I arrived, the room was a scorching 39C, and the hallway was just as hot. I didn’t expect miracles for the price, but I’d hoped the AC would at least bring it down to 26C–28C. The fridge door was open and unplugged. The air‑conditioner, about 35 years old, seemed never to have been cleaned in its life. Even when set to 17C, the room temperature was still 26C by morning.
