The room was clean and decent, breakfast fine, staff friendly, and the onsen was okay; being next to Hitachi Station makes travel convenient. However, the 8th‑floor room had a strong, lingering cigarette smell, likely because the smoking room is right in front of the elevator, which made my wife and daughter uncomfortable; better ventilation is needed.
