“fantastic”
The beds were super comfy, and the bar manager, Lisa, was exceptional and friendly, yet one bar staff member was overwhelmed at night during a wedding weekend, juggling drinks and bar food.

The location was good and the beds comfortable, but the desk staff were cold and unwelcoming, the parking situation was confusing, a very large, unpleasant hair was found in the bed, and the breakfast restaurant was slow and sleepy, so we ended up eating a few blocks away at Brew Bakers.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel sits nicely on Middletown’s main street, just a five‑minute ride from Wesleyan’s admissions office, but the bath towel bar was slightly loose and the breakfast at the hotel restaurant was okay but nothing special.

This place is consistently superb: it’s always impeccably clean, everything in the rooms works, free coffee is available very early every morning, and the staff are attentive and helpful.
