“Toller Blick auf die Bucht von Shirahama in sympathischem Hotel mit Onsen”

The view straight onto the Pacific was stunning, the room was spacious with tatami mats and a private bathroom, there was an onsen on the ground floor, and the beach was about 10 minutes walking away; the path is steep with stairs but beautiful, passing a small pretty temple and a cute café (Sampark Café, must visit!), the owner was very nice and offered to help with my heavy suitcase, I declined but she still walked with me to show a better route to the bus stop without stairs. The only issue was getting around with luggage; otherwise a taxi from Shirahama station is recommended if you have a lot of bags, but that's not really a criticism.

Everything was clean down to the smallest detail, and the water was also very good.

The room was clean, the kimono was very good, and the hot spring was good. I wanted a towel hanger, a fan or cooler in the dressing area, and the bath handle was hard and difficult to move.

There was plenty of space in the room, I enjoyed the onsen, and the owner was really nice.

I didn’t bring pajamas, so I expected something like a yukata in the room, but there wasn’t any, so I had to buy one elsewhere. When I went to the bath in the morning there was a yukata nearby, and I wish the reception had mentioned it.
