The location is great, the place is quiet, the restaurant setting is nice, and the buffet offers unlimited drinks. The pool feels old, the breakfast selection is limited, and there are no pastries either.

The food was great and the location was nice, but it smelled musty all the time. After we mentioned a room request twice, the reception told us we’d have to do it via phone because no one answered the house phone. On Sunday we tried to use the sauna, but we were the only ones registered and when we stood in front of the locked door they said it was “broken” and would reopen tomorrow morning (closing at 8 pm). It seemed they wouldn’t turn it on for four guests. We’d have appreciated a prior notice—like a note on the door or something—rather than the “we won’t do that” answer.

We could only get the room cleaned if we dropped the cleaning card into the designated box, which we did once. Around 15:30 in the afternoon the room was still dirty; after a second request we finally received fresh towels and the trash was taken out, but that was all the cleaning did—no vacuuming or bathroom scrubbing.
