The pool was dirty and not operational. The rooms were poorly insulated and filthy: the air‑conditioning units and fans were covered in dust. Asthmatics and allergy sufferers should stay away! The bathroom ceiling was covered in mold, so cleanliness was definitely lacking. The bed on the mezzanine was just a mattress on a dusty floor, and it was very hot. Breakfast was very sparse—no tea, no juice, only coffee, no fruit, just sliced bread and an egg. It felt like we were in low season. To reach the port you need to take a ferry, which takes about 20 minutes by car, so there was no real value.

I stayed at this old place with my wife and three kids, and it was a nightmare. The room was infested with cockroaches and covered in animal droppings on the floor and the beds. The toilets were yellow and filthy, and there were hairs in the bathroom. The list of problems was long, but the worst part was that we left after just 30 seconds, never even staying, and we’re still waiting for a refund. Absolutely avoid this place if you’re traveling with family.

The hotel is well situated and quiet, though the low season made that feel even more pronounced. The downside was that there was no breakfast and the pool was filthy.
