Hotel David

Hotel David feels like a charming, antique‑styled retreat right in a convenient spot, with the Duomo just a 10‑to‑20‑minute stroll away depending on the path. Parking is on site; we didn’t book a spot beforehand but the staff helped us move our car from the street to the hotel lot. We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary aperitivo featuring a solid selection of drinks and snacks, and breakfast was also very good. Even though we stayed only one night, they handed us a lovely lemon‑and‑rose scented soap at checkout as a thoughtful gift. I highly recommend it – the team truly makes guests feel welcome.

“Wenn wieder Florenz, dann Hotel David !”

We loved it – a beautiful hotel close to Florence’s center that blew us away. There’s a free, secure parking lot right at the hotel, daily free Happy Hour, and a bus stop right outside that takes you to the center. You can also walk into the center in about 15 minutes. We used the bus when it was 38 °C (😀) and only drove a car for arrival and departure. Nothing to complain about.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, the room was spotless and beautifully decorated. During the stay guests get drinks and can join the evening snack. A bus stop right next to the hotel lets you reach the old town in just a few minutes. The best hotel I could find during my stay in Florence.

The large room with a balcony overlooking Florence, very friendly staff, and parking directly in the courtyard – nothing else comes to mind.
