The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. I admit the location was limited in dining options, mainly just Chinese food, which was fine for us but might be a problem for others.

The location was good and the reception was friendly; Michael was awesome. The rooms had dust on the carpet, so better vacuuming is needed.

The location was convenient, close to the 7 train and the airport, and the Citifield area was handy. The staff were barely present, seemed unenthusiastic about having African‑American guests, and the area was predominantly Asian. No one greeted us when we arrived or left, no eye contact, no smiles. My wife went to the lobby for drinks and was ignored by a staff member named Jonothan; she had to find someone else for service. He later helped a white guest instead. This kind of treatment has to stop. I had hoped this would become my go‑to hotel in New York. We checked out the previous evening and the shuttle driver was unhelpful; he thanked us for staying but stood at the door with our bags and offered no assistance. I’m very disappointed with this experience.

The amenities were great, especially the lounge spaces on the first floor. The elevator was a bit difficult to use, and I didn’t like having to use a passkey for it.

I stayed in a spotless room, the staff were welcoming, breakfast was solid, and the spot was spot on!!
