The location was unbeatable, right in the center, but the room was a disaster: a huge hole in the wall hidden by a poster and a large burn mark on another wall. There was no city view as promised, no shower toiletries, the TV was broken, and Wi‑Fi stayed unusable even after entering a new password. Great location, charming old building, comfortable bed, and always hot water for showers. The room was advertised as luxury, yet the small touches were missing. The entrance hall was dark until you reached the stairs and the outer door to the room. The safe didn’t work—battery and cover were absent. No toiletries were provided, even though they were listed. The hangers were inadequate. Only three tea bags and a jar of instant coffee were offered. The rug needs washing, and the shower tiles need mold spray. The facilities are average and could use improvement.

Nothing. The photos don’t match reality. The room is old, dirty, with mold in the shower, and the electrical outlet in the bathroom lacks a cover. The entrance is filthy, the gate never closes, posing a safety risk. The lobby is full of cigarette butts, smells of mold, and the room is old with poor cleaning. Shampoo and body wash are missing. Despite the heat, the air conditioner couldn’t be turned on because it emitted acrid smells from dirty filters. Noise comes from the street and the floor above. The BnB has no sign. Self‑check‑in. No request for documents.

“Long weekend in zadar”

Very central location and the room view was lovely. The hallway and stairs to the room were dirty, smelly, and had cat waste on them. It was a bit loud at night, and the Wi‑Fi was a bit problematic.
