The price‑to‑value ratio was unbeatable at €16, and we still had a large fridge and air‑conditioning, almost like paradise. The overnight stay was perfect, and a bit more would be nice since a national park is nearby. The hosts rented us a scooter cheaply and even drove us to the airport the next day for a very low price. It’s very remote, so a scooter is essential; after 2 km you reach Paknang and can eat at local spots without tourists for a small fee, just like Thailand 20 years ago in the non‑mass‑tourism areas. The locals are super helpful, friendly, and curious to see tourists. A wonderful feeling after all the crowded places and islands in southern Thailand. Great experience!

We chose this guesthouse because of its immediate proximity to the airport, making it a perfect stopover for a day trip. As with our other stops, we especially liked how quiet the place was. The staff were again very kind and helpful, making our short stay much easier. On the same day, a few minutes were enough to arrange a driver for the day to visit Tham Lae Khao Kob Cave (avoid if claustrophobic), Wat Khao Phra Yod temple, the Dragon Garden, and a few other points of interest in Trang. The rooms are simple but clean and functional for transit. There is no breakfast served on site, so you need to shop the night before (for example at 7‑Eleven), but the hotel provides microwaves for guests to prepare something easily. The downside of this strategic location is its geographic isolation: you must have a vehicle (Grab, taxi, or scooter) to reach the livelier areas or restaurants.

The place is quiet with greenery all around. Walking to shops takes about 2 km. A seafood restaurant is 500 m away but closed (03/2026) due to major roadworks.
