“A wonderful place to stay as long as you remain on site on site”

Everything was fantastic. The rooms were a great size, especially the ground‑floor ones that were exceptionally large and beautifully equipped with everything you would want – a huge bed, a fridge, a substantial bathroom and a fabulous patio. Nothing negative as long as you stay on site it’s fabulous. If you leave the premises it’s a long way into town on a very bumpy road. The beach adjoining the hotel is not great – there’s coral on entering the water unless you go 400 mts away.

“Fantastisk ophold på Diani Beach”

Pinewood ligger helt perfekt og har en virkelig fantastisk, bred strand, hvor det er muligt at spille beachvolley og bade fra. Morgenmaden er helt i top. Det er fantastisk, at der er mulighed for at få frisklavet omelet, eller hvad man nu har lyst til til morgenmad hver dag. Hele området er virkelig dejligt at være i; der er mange træer, og det gør, at det virker rigtig hyggeligt og trygt at være i. Store, rummelige værelser med højt til loftet gør, at man har lyst til at opholde sig på værelset og benytte terrassen om aftenen. Badeværelset er også stort og rummeligt, og der var dejligt varmt vand hver dag. Poolområdet er virkelig godt, med masser af muligheder for at ligge i solen eller i skyggen, alt efter hvad man har lyst til. Der er ikke så meget negativt at sige om Pinewood. Man skal være opmærksom på, at det kan være blæsende om aftenen, når man sidder og spiser middag på stranden, og derfor kan det være en god idé at medbringe en trøje eller jakke

The property is very beautiful, with lovely plants and wildlife observation possible. Table tennis and darts are free. I loved that in the afternoons there was free coffee and cake for all guests by the pool. The restaurant is excellent and the staff are very pleasant. The hotel beach with loungers is very far from the water. You can’t even see the sea from the loungers because a sand dune lies in between. That dune should be removed. I don’t like lying on the beach when I can’t even see the sea. The sea is also less suitable for swimming because of the reef in front and the huge amount of seaweed. Walking on the beach is not very fun because of the intrusive beach boys, but that’s probably the whole Diani Beach.

“Good hotel with a very friendly staff.”

The grounds were kept in great shape, with gardeners working almost nonstop, the staff were very friendly, and the lunches were tasty; the hotel is close to the beach. The breakfasts and dinners felt repetitive, the price was a bit high, and a touch of renovation and a fresh look would help.

“Eine Empfehlung von Herzen”

The vacation was lovely in every way! The food was delicious and varied, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was prompt. The location is right on the beach with small stalls nearby for quick purchases. The rooms were fully equipped, with beautiful pictures, a large balcony, and a view of the palm trees. A few beach‑boys tried to sell or beg, but the hotel quickly moved them away. A quiet walk along the beach is rarely possible.
