The place sits close to Kodaikanal lake, but the photos were misleading – the walls aren’t properly painted, the surroundings look unclean, stray dogs roam around, and there’s no Wi‑Fi or fan in the room. When the temperature rises, you’ll feel hot because neither AC nor fan is available. The pictures just don’t reflect reality.

The location is fine. The neatness of the bed and bedsheet is very poor.

Great location! Even though we had a reservation and paid for a room, they told us it was booked when we arrived. We were lucky they had a family room free for one night. The room was dirty and the humidity smelled absolutely terrible.

The hotel doesn't provide food. We are happy with the accommodation. Rooms are big and well furnished with clean material. 1. The downside is the road leading to the hotel is in bad shape and our vehicle driver refused to drive up to the hotel, stoping the vehicle on the road. The area between the road and the hotel belongs to government and hotel owners won't be able to repair the broken road leading to the hotel. 2. Unfortunately there was a power failure in the morning (planned shutdown by EB) and had to pack things in dark. The DG power supply was not enough to light the room
