The host was nice and kept drinks tidy, but there was no dinner in the evening or anything else.

The breakfast was fine, but the hotel sits right by the highway and feels cut off from everything, with the nearest shop about 3.5 km away. The corridors are gloomy and painted black, and the room itself is also black inside, lit only by the weakest lighting I’ve seen. In the bedroom two tiny lamps barely flicker, creating a very depressing atmosphere.

We liked the breakfast and the fact that the hotel would keep our packed lunch in a fridge, plus the staff were friendly. The room 105 was dark because it had no central light, and it would have been nicer if tea and coffee making facilities were included in the price. Also, I wish I’d known the nearest bus stop is 1km away and there are no restaurants nearby.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and functional and the breakfast was good. We had a room at the front where the traffic on the adjacent highway could be heard loudly, and the house has a disco whose music also reverberated. With the windows closed it wasn’t a huge issue, but a room at the back would definitely be better.
