The welcome was very warm, the rooms were detailedly decorated, the restaurant was excellent with beautifully plated dishes, and the breakfast buffet was lovely and extensive; the hotel was wonderfully quiet on the edge of the village.

Binnenkant van hotel was TOP !!! “De kamers waren mooi modern ingericht, met toch leuke typisch Duitse accenten die voor een warme en authentieke sfeer zorgden.". De gastvrouw kwam soms wat chaotisch over, maar dat gaf eigenlijk wel een leuke, spontane en huiselijke sfeer.🤭

I stayed in room 14, a single room that was tidy and offered a great view from the balcony, which I really liked.

The location, the room, and especially the food were excellent, but we didn't feel welcome from the owner and her son, who were snippy, condescending, and argumentative; we felt more like a nuisance than guests. The next morning, the house manager took care of us at breakfast, showing empathy, friendliness, and openness, and we realized that this place can be run differently.
