Checking in was a breeze because I had already completed the online process, which was straightforward. I had to remind them several times via WhatsApp and the booking site that I would arrive late at night, yet they kept asking the same questions from different numbers—one from a generic Zostel line and another from the owner—despite acknowledging my note on the booking platform. Centralising those messages and adding a clear remark in every reference section would stop the repeated questioning about my arrival time.

The shared bathroom smelled damp and the issue wasn’t fixed. The bed was unstable, and there was no locker or cupboard in the room.
