The price was reasonable and the hotel is only a 5‑minute walk from Ueno Station and Ueno Park. The area gets very noisy at night, staying loud until late, so it’s a very lively neighborhood.

There were several toilets and the paper towels were handy. The room was split into two levels; the upper level had a steep staircase and a grab bar that looked like it might break.
