The bed was nice, compact, and comfortable with an ensuite shower that could be more user‑friendly; there were no soap dishes in the shower cabinet for gel or shampoo, so an upgrade would help, but otherwise everything was fine. The toilet seat was broken.

The restaurant had a unique vibe, though it was on the pricey side, and the breakfast was solid. The hairdryer was missing and the TV was tiny.

I only ate breakfast once because it was underwhelming, and when I raised the issue I wasn't charged for it.

The room fell short of expectations: the coffee was nearly cold, toast wasn’t always available, and the fruit was ice‑cold; there was no granulated sugar for cereals and orange juice wasn’t always offered. A toaster in the dining area with bread would let guests make their own, and one staff member on duty isn’t enough. The staff remained friendly and helpful as usual. Attention to detail would improve things—cleaning around the shower and drain was lacking, water didn’t drain properly, both chairs in room 5 were loose and could pose a safety issue, and a thick layer of dust covered the bathroom venetian blind.

We had a problem with the room we booked. The situation was handled in a very professional and friendly way by Grace and we were assigned a different room. The breakfast guy was also very good and his scrabbled eggs are excellent. The fried eggs with the ham, egg and chips dish were rock hard. Missed the point of the dish
