The location was lovely and the owners were extremely friendly. The room was beautifully furnished and felt like home. The cooked breakfast was exceptional, but the duvets were too hot for the mild weather.

The area is beautiful and the food excellent, but it’s a 50‑minute walk from Crainlarich; the hotel gave us two taxi numbers (after we had to search their website for the info, which wasn’t there), one retired and the other very helpful – walkers should be aware. The floors and doors squeak loudly, so every movement is audible. The hostess was quite unpleasant in the communication before arrival and throughout the stay.
