We appreciated the calm, the welcome and the cleanliness of the property. The toilets were next to the sink and a bit narrow, but the shower was perfect.

The location is excellent, the room and bathroom were clean, and breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented on the table (ham, cheese, pastries, juice, yogurt…). The hosts were very friendly! The restaurant must be superb, but we couldn’t use it because of time constraints. It was a bit noisy.

Located between Volterra and San Gimignano, it’s pretty convenient for exploring the area, surrounded by greenery despite being close to the road. Dinner was decent, the cacio e pepe was too strong, the wild boar ragù pasta was good. Checking in after 18:00 is impossible, the owner is unwelcoming and inflexible with times. The room is old and poorly maintained, with obvious wear, small size and a tiny bathroom – using the toilet required a bit of a juggling act with the sink. Breakfast was sparse: one juice and a hot drink, a small basket of packaged items (one per person) and a brioche per person; when we asked for more we got a negative and unfriendly reply.
