Located in the seaside village, it's 20 minutes from Byron Bay and 30 minutes from Ballina Airport. Stylish, contemporary rooms are eco-conscious. The hotel looked polished and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the light breakfast was nicely presented in a lovely setting, but the bathroom felt cramped and the door didn’t shut properly, so privacy was lacking.

The air conditioning and TV were both non‑functional, some rooms had a minibar while others didn’t for no clear reason, and we had to fetch our own towels because none were provided; the manager promised a follow‑up that never came.

Good location and great restaurants. Not 4 star like advertised more 3. Also said partial Ocean views definitely not. 3 flights of stairs to get to apartment wasn't clear on app
