The housekeeper was incredibly kind. Breakfast was always impeccably prepared, with eggs cooked fresh to any style. The pastries were crisp and the homemade bread superb. Every morning there were homemade sweet buns. For cyclists, there’s a large garage with electric bike charging.

The rooms were huge and even had their own little patio, everything – the room, the bathroom – was spotless. We had air‑conditioning, a seat, a safe and a tiny fridge, plus a shared courtyard with extra seating and parking right out front. Breakfast was a buffet of good stuff, and the owner baked fresh cake every morning.

We were greeted with a warm smile and Frau Weinhandl immediately handed us a list of local eateries and things to see – the Mönchhof village museum is a must‑visit. The guesthouse itself was tidy and the breakfast spread was really tasty. All in all, we left feeling completely satisfied and thought the price‑to‑value ratio was excellent.
