I felt very comfortable throughout my stay, enjoyed a superb dinner and very good breakfast, and the hosts were extremely courteous. The hotel’s location is beautiful with a mountain view, very central yet quiet.

The wellness is good for relaxing. Unfortunately, breakfast only starts at 7:30 am, which isn’t very convenient if you’re heading out early in the mountains.

“Schönes Hotel in herrlicher Lage”

The hotel’s quiet location offers many excursion options, the operators and staff are very friendly, the breakfast buffet is superb with coffee and tea, the place is very clean, the beds comfortable, and the 5‑course dinner menu is excellently served. There is a free parking spot, a free safe, plenty of hanging and storage space in the room, water bottles and a small bottle of wine as a welcome gift, and guest cards for free use of buses and mountain lifts. Despite the listed shortcomings, we’d like to return. The shower was leaking – it was reported and fixed immediately. The toilet paper holder was broken – it was reported and fixed immediately. Defective items (as mentioned above) should be reported by the cleaning staff, not left to the guest. We seemed to be the first guests to point this out. The bathroom is very small with a tiny sink. The shower head has a very hard spray and a difficult mixing lever. We wanted to use the fitness room upon arrival, but were advised against it because it’s in the wellness area (upstairs) and could disturb other guests. They said only mornings are allowed and that the area can only be entered in hotel‑owned slippers and a bathrobe. The “fitness room” has 3 machines (bike, elliptical, rowing). From our view, these machines are misplaced.
