Grove Inn left me outside for almost two hours before finally letting us in, then we had to move again to Peckham. I was disappointed by Grove Inn.
When we arrived, the room was not clean at all; we had to wash the bathroom ourselves because the hotel had failed to send us the necessary information after we booked.
“bloody awful”
The room was too hot, the shower was blocked, it was dirty, and there was no staff available to help.
“Disgusted at this Faudulent Activity from Booking.com and Grove Inn”
The place wasn’t open, and I couldn’t contact the owners at all. I had paid in full, yet the building looked derelict and we were isolated by the supposed Hotel Grove Inn. This fraudulent activity disgusted us.
“En omgang møg”
We had booked a double room with a private bathroom, but received a small room with two different sized beds and a shared bathroom with other rooms on the hallway. Initially we couldn’t enter because we hadn’t received a door code; the pub below helped us get a key, but we still had to wait longer to get in. Once we had the code, the room was disappointing: it was unbearably hot, the curtains/blinds couldn’t be opened, and the remote was missing. Only a weak fan could circulate the hot air. We had to leave the door open to the hallway just to breathe. The shared bathroom was dirty, had no soap, and the shower was broken, spraying water everywhere from the hose. There were no places to hang wet towels, making the room even more damp. I wrote to the staff about the bathroom and curtains but received no response. Seriously, it’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed.
