All the staff were helpful and friendly, and the location is quiet yet close to the square, tourist spots, and good restaurants. Unfortunately, there was black mould on the ceiling of the upstairs extra bed in the family room—a proven health hazard—with a damp smell and no proper ventilation; the “window” couldn’t be opened. We asked for a room change, but it wasn’t possible, and the refund offered was unsatisfactory given how busy Marrakech was. Three adults ended up sharing the king‑size bed in the main bedroom, but we managed.

The Moroccan breakfast was fine, but there was a lot of noise and the shower room was too small and cramped. We couldn’t store our luggage in the shower area, and we couldn’t stand next to the bed because there was no bedside lamp.

The riad is exactly as described, located just off a busy route from the main square and easy to find on Google Maps, though it lacks a sign with its name and is marked only as number 20. The staff are attentive and friendly, ready to help. I stayed in a double room with a private bathroom and toilet; note that a room advertised as having a bathroom actually only has a shower and a shared toilet. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again, but a sign with the riad’s name would make it easier for guests.

Karim was always ready to help with anything, making the stay smooth, and the location is perfect for exploring Marrakech. The only downside I could find was the air conditioner being quite dirty, but we didn’t need it because we stayed on the top floor with good airflow.
