The apartment’s location was great—close to everything yet still private, and the host was very communicative and kind.

The spot was spot-on, almost central in the old town but quiet at night. When we arrived late, the place hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests, but the host responded right away and a stressed Russian lady came in a few minutes to tidy up, change the bedding, etc. We went for a quick walk, and when we returned the apartment was clean enough for us, though not spotless, which was fine since we were exhausted from traveling. The apartment was convenient and the bed was comfy. I missed a coffeemaker, but there are great breakfast spots just around the corner. I’d come back for quiet nights in a cool room in a beautiful setting, especially with such a responsive host.
