Hotel Nuevo Julios by Olda

A quiet spot at first, but the bar across the street kept the whole evening noisy until midnight. The hotel is ten minutes from the Camino, and I never met any staff or got a pilgrim stamp. The promised coffee and tea in the common area were missing—only a few tea filters and a kettle, no mugs or coffee. The bed felt a bit saggy, otherwise the room was fine.

Checking in was straightforward and the surroundings were clean. The pillow smelled like feet, so I had to cover it with a bathroom towel to sleep.

Check‑in went smoothly and there’s a restaurant across the street. However, it was hard to reach from our Camino hike, the coffee kettle couldn’t be plugged in, and only plastic cups were available. No staff appeared at all during our stay.
