The Hungarian border is about 10 km away, and you can probably pick up terrestrial TV broadcasts for free. From there you could have easily added the otherwise rich UPC (Slovak‑language) program. If not, that’s fine. At that time we were an English‑speaking group. I doubt they would have understood the Slovak program. Maybe a German and/or English channel would have been more suitable.
