“idyllisch gelegenes, nettes kleines Hotel mit hübschem Garten”

The small, friendly hotel sits on a lightly trafficked side street in a cute hamlet—quiet and idyllic. There’s a nicely laid out garden with a tiny pond and seating. The restaurant in the main house doubles as a breakfast room and bar, offering freshly tapped beer. From there you can step onto a covered, green terrace overlooking the garden. The dining room is pleasantly simple with wood and plaster; breakfast is French‑style, great with white bread, yeast loaf, croissant, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, yogurt, jam, and honey. The maître was very nice and straightforward. We spoke little French, he little English, but we got along just fine. We were the only guests for dinner. For the beer on the terrace, he brought us the menu and prepared everything for dinner. The menu is regional and manageable—everything tasted very good! The rooms are simple and clean, the beds comfortable, everything worked. There are a few parking spaces, and covered spots for motorcycles too. We’ll come back :-)
