I stayed in October 2026; the common area was cozy and comfortable, the front‑desk attendant was friendly, available, and gave great local tips, and the hotel is close to shops, restaurants and bars, especially the Soul Garden bar with excellent cocktails, and the Royal Palace is nearby. The room itself was in poor condition: it was dark, had no fridge, the bathroom was cramped and uncomfortable, the door touched the toilet so you couldn’t open it with two people, the sanitary seals weren’t very clean, the furniture was broken and split, and the paintwork was badly finished.

The hotel was cozy, the bed was good, the staff were very helpful, and it was a great deal for the price.

“Very pleasant interesting stay, lovely staff, superb breakfast”

The quirky, zany décor matched our taste, the staff were very friendly, the Continental breakfast was tasty and plentiful, the location was good for the town centre and the Palace, and street parking was easy and safe; the downside was that no staff were on site overnight, the shower in the bath wasn’t to our liking, and the bedside light was faulty.
