A broken toilet, a damp‑smelling room, a door that wouldn’t lock, and a lot of ants in the room made the experience awful.

The room was quite quiet with no street noise, the climate inside was tolerable and not hot, and the distance to the electrical outlets was perfectly convenient—within arm’s reach. However, the room was unexpectedly tiny, had no windows, and the foyer with its sliding door was awkward, jerking and moving poorly. The ceramic tiles on the floor were noisy and clearly in need of urgent repair, and the huge wooden keychain was inconvenient to carry in short shorts.
