“Read and Rest?”

The cats and kittens were delightful, and the reading hall had a dreamy view from the room window, though that might not be a plus for everyone. Opening the room’s door leads straight into the toilet, and the space is only about 30 % larger than the bed, leaving almost no room to move. The price was high for the overall quality, and the staff were not very talkative; when we asked for nearby food suggestions we got a vague “whatever” reply. The reading hall, marketed as a calm place called READ AND REST, was disrupted by random children who entered without any checks. Whether it was a language barrier or bad luck, I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

The place is right where you want to be – everything I needed was just a short walk away, and getting around the city was a breeze. I didn’t have any complaints, just happy to be in such a convenient spot.

The location is fantastic, tucked at the edge of a quiet hutong with a metro stop and the airport express right around the corner, plus plenty of little shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were really friendly and even showed up Saturday night to sort out a broken air‑conditioner and bring a technician. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

The room was brand‑new, spotless and had a solid set of facilities, plus a window shade that made the space completely dark for a good night’s sleep. The neighborhood matched what I’d hoped for – quiet and exactly where I wanted to be. I’d definitely book this place again without hesitation.

“Amazing staff”

I liked everything about this place – the staff were welcoming, the little coffee shop was a nice touch, and the resident cats added a cozy vibe. Having a noodle restaurant right next door was a bonus for quick meals.
