I never checked in because the listing promised a private bathroom, but it turned out to be shared, so I cancelled the reservation.

I had a confirmed booking for a work trip, showed up at the hostel and the door stayed shut. After a lot of ringing and finally getting someone on the phone, they told me there were no rooms left and no one had warned me ahead of time. Totally irresponsible.
