A clean, family‑run hotel with large, modern rooms. The kitchen left no wish unfulfilled. The staff were, as expected, very friendly. The location allows hikes straight from the hotel, and a cable car is right nearby.

In short: after 20 years of world travel and hundreds of hotels, this is my favorite. The blend of family atmosphere and professionalism is unique, making my stay especially memorable. The higher‑mountain location is spectacular, the rooms generous, and the food fantastic. Family Schwärzer is happy to help plan activities and even worries if you’re late for dinner—unbelievable. Book here; you won’t find a better place.

The welcome, cleanliness and hospitality were great. Their kitchen is truly enjoyable, though the choices are limited to about two items, but the quality and cooking skill are very satisfying.
