The bed was comfortable, the bathroom modern, there was a tea kettle for coffee or tea, two bottles of water, a mini fridge, and a safe; many eating places were nearby. However, the drawers were unusable and only for show.

The staff were accommodating—when I left my key in the room one day, they simply gave me a replacement without fuss. Rooms stayed clean, and they only tidy them on request, so nothing gets moved around. The downside was a RM200 cash deposit required upfront, which was hard to arrange before arriving in Malaysia; a heads‑up beforehand would have helped.
