“Correcta por el precio”
The place is in a good spot, but the room got hot, the dining area wasn’t ventilated and felt too warm, and one shower in the bathroom didn’t work, so everyone in the five rooms had to use the same shower and wait.

The location is fine, the street is quiet, and there’s noise during the day and night, but the service was terrible: we arrived and waited two hours to unlock the building door with the correct key, the lock didn’t have the key inside, the host ignored calls and answered SMS very slowly.

The rooms were clean, Wi‑Fi worked well, and check‑in was smooth, yet we got a balcony room that was actually shared with a multi‑occupancy room, something we didn’t know at booking, and the daytime noise from a nearby school was loud because there was no air‑conditioning, forcing us to keep windows open.

The space was lovely with a balcony, door, window, and shutters, and it was quiet at night, and I was lucky to have great fellow guests, but the main area was hot and humid because the showers vent into it.

The room was spacious with a large balcony, the location on a side street near the metro station was good and safe, the price for Porto was fair, and there was a way to leave luggage between 12 and 20 h at the partner hostel right next to Capela das Almas de Santa Catarina; the kitchen included a shared fridge; a supermarket and a few restaurants were nearby. The anonymity was extreme, no one was ever seen on site; communication about accessing the building/room was only in Portuguese via WhatsApp at 16:30 h, so early check‑in wasn’t possible; access required several codes, keys, etc., which was quite complicated; the whole apartment (about five rooms) was very noisy; only two bathrooms (one of them extremely small); loud noise came from a frequently moving garage door on the other side of the street.
