We stayed at Stable Lodge 6 months ago and this stay was just as good. The rooms are comfortable and the bed super comfortable (9.5 for the beds). There is a nice little pool which we didnt use this time as the weather wasn't great. We did use the restaurant and the Scandanavian food was excellent. The location is unbeatable being a 5 minute walk to the BTS, with a 7/11 (essential in Thailand!) a 2 minute walk and being located on a fairly quiet soi. Highly recommended. The lady serving us in the restaurant could barely speak English which wasn't a problem for us as my wife is Thai but for others this could be an issue. They are refurbishing the lobby area at the moment with consequent smell of paint and sound of drilling but the affect was minor
