The basement was spacious and cozy, with plenty of appliances, dishes, and accessories so I could cook and avoid eating out. I did trip a circuit early in the morning, which knocked out half the basement lights, and the bathroom sink sits right next to the kitchen sink.

The spot was ideal for smokers thanks to the nearby walking trail, and the amenities far surpassed what I expected; the bed was super comfy, cleaner than a hotel, and the host was quick and clear with communication, which worked great for a solo stay. The only gripe: the shower wasn’t user‑friendly—I had to figure out how to turn the head on my own, and I spotted a few dead moths by the patio entrance.
