The renovated historic castle was lovely, the pool area was nice, dinner and breakfast were very good, and the host and hostess were delightful. We dined with other guests, the host, and the hostess, had an interesting conversation, and afterward we sang Edith Piaf songs to the accompaniment of an old barrel organ (I’m not sure if it was actually a barrel organ). It was a very special and memorable evening.

This place feels timeless, a tiny haven of calm! The hosts greeted us with extreme kindness and even cooked a gluten‑free dinner for us upon arrival. They also prepared a wonderful homemade breakfast. Their attentiveness really moved us. The accommodation had a Romanesque vibe, the room was clean and tastefully decorated, and the bathroom matched that style. We were able to use the pool, too. I gladly recommend this hotel and the area is full of lovely spots to explore!

The establishment has character and a rich history, with a warm welcome from the hosts. The room was comfortable and charming, the food and wine tasting were excellent, and it’s a beautiful, highly recommended place.
