The breakfast consisted of packaged snacks, and although there were pods, the coffee machine was missing. The bed frames were worn to the point of being barely usable, and the bathroom door opened and closed with a lot of effort.

The place is quiet, close to major highways for easy island touring, and everything is arranged so you won’t be disturbed.

The room was beautiful, exactly what you’d expect in Sicily, with genuine authentic charm. The remote reception staff was very helpful, and the property is right next to a great, authentic restaurant. The archaeological site and morning birds added to the experience, and the beds were huge and comfortable. The old air‑conditioning unit wasn’t very powerful, which was fine for me but too warm for my husband, and the location on a busy road means you can hear traffic.

The accommodation is lovely and near the sea. The owner was very eager to help and suggested a restaurant. I recommend it.

It’s close to Cefalú and 45 minutes from Palermo. The lodging matches the booking photos. The building’s façade is very old, but the interior has been renovated. There were ants in the bathroom and room, which aren’t deal‑breakers but can bother light sleepers, especially since it’s near a road.
