The staff paid close attention to the facilities and kept everything clean, but to get early check‑in with Hilton Honors you must link your Hilton reservation number to your Booking account, a process that could be simplified.

The room was bright and attractive with great bedding and a nice bathroom, and the location was perfect for nearby restaurants, the beach, and shopping, though the bathroom lighting was a bit dark for shaving.

Breakfast was delicious and the servers were kind and attentive, yet you should consider providing fitted pack‑n‑play sheets; we brought our own, but a fitted sheet would keep younger babies (0‑12 months) from pulling the sheet around themselves.

The hotel was clean and close to Indiana Dunes State Park. I booked a double‑bed room, but when I arrived they gave me a single queen bed for two people and only one key. My friend was uneasy sharing the bed, but we managed. Having only one key was inconvenient. The staff were very nice and pleasant, but they made it clear the hotel was fully booked with no available rooms, so we didn’t even ask about getting the two beds we had reserved.
