The scenery was great and the vibes were good overall; the caretaker was quite nice too. It was hard to find using maps because it’s hidden, but once you get there it’s bliss!

The room was clean, but the facilities weren’t prepared; I had to ask for towels, soap, a dental kit, etc., and drinking water wasn’t available. Food was said to be sent from the market instead of cooked on site, which ruined dinner. It felt more like a homestay than a resort. The location and access were poor; we arrived late at night and it was extremely hard to find. Even after we got there, the compound was so narrow that getting a car in was a struggle.

The place is super comfy, just wish they’d fix a few light buttons that aren’t working. The staff are great and free, and the service was amazing—definitely worth a visit.

The service was decent and the facilities were good, but at check‑in the host moved us to another guest house because a bigger group would affect us. My mom has a slipped disc, yet we were forced into that arrangement. The manager at the new place behaved badly, though the staff were helpful. We were relocated from a quiet spot in Khandala with minimal train noise to a spot right by the railway station, where the engines kept me awake after 4 am and the noise was intense.
