“It was our second time at Mogoma and the service as well as the facilities were up to standard”

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness of the property is my main point of appreciation. The room we were given this time had a few problems – a broken wardrobe shelf, a broken basin tap, and the shower mixer gave an electric shock when touched.

The place was clean and easy to find. We weren't given the WiFi password, the gate remote had flat batteries, the shower water pressure was too low so we had to lean against the wall to get enough water, there was only one bottle of water in the room for two guests, the host didn't tell us beforehand that tap water isn’t drinkable (we had to read the leaflet on the door, it would have been better to hear it from staff), there were side lamps in the room, and the towels were small – just hand towels instead of at least a bath towel or sheet.

I was stuck because the hotel didn’t give me a gate key, and when I told the staff my departure time they were nowhere to be found and the phone was off, so I ended up running late to work.
