The room was very basic, just as I had imagined. Breakfast was decent, though a large party arrived right before us and the bread ran out, but it was restocked fast. The sunny weather let us use the outdoor tables, which helped. The night receptionist, Vincent, was excellent—very helpful and friendly, a real credit to the hotel.

The lack of comfort was disappointing. The third bed wasn’t available, and the coffee was really bad.
